Melissa Asfahani practices in all aspects of intellectual property law, including preparation and prosecution of patent applications both domestic and foreign, trademark procurement and protection, and the management and development of intellectual property portfolios. Ms. Asfahani has prosecuted patent applications in the biotechnology arts, biochemical, chemical, medical and surgical devices, electrical, electronics, data processing, computer hardware and software, electro-mechanical and mechanical areas.
 
Ms. Asfahani is from El Paso, Texas and previously served as a patent attorney with Strasburger & Price in San Antonio, Texas.  During law school, Ms. Asfahani interned as a patent agent with Whitaker Chalk in Fort Worth, Texas.
